You are a leader, manager or business owner who understands the need for vital coaching and leadership skills in a global, diverse and often virtual world.
You are looking to enhance your leadership skills and methods to support key staff who may be disengaged and lack motivation
You need a specialist cross-cultural coach who understands we are all global citizens needing to build our skills and awareness when doing business internationally
It has become increasingly apparent to me over the past few years that the vital skills and behaviours needed when working cross-culturally are often lacking.
Lack of clear communication and a failure to pay attention to cultural values and non-verbal clues hinder the building of trust
Inflexibility, intolerance and lack of cultural awareness can destroy business relationships
These leadership skills are essential if we are to succeed in a global, diverse and virtual world.
For leaders, managers and business owners we offer specialist leadership coaching and cross-cultural training:
Coaching & Supervision
Welcome to the International Coaching Supervision Group, every fourth Thursday in the month commencing on 18th Oct 2018 at 17.00-19.00 GMT. We will share interesting case studies, explore challenges and concerns and consider best practice in coaching. If you are coaching senior leaders 1-2-1 or facilitating multi-national teams across borders then this is for you! In a safe and non-judgemental environment you will learn from each other and individually form robust coaching practices.
Leadership Coaching is when a coach supports an individual or team to create learning and development in a way that benefits them. The emphasis is on the individual/s to manage and action the agreed points/skills/changes so taking full responsibility for their development. This in turn empowers the coachee and makes them feel in control of their own learning.
It is important for the coach to introduce open questions and allow the coachee space in which to reflect and answer. Supporting the coachee to think in different ways and realise that they have a choice as to how they react or approach a situation.
Team Cross-Cultural Training
Courses include building and enhancing:
- Cross cultural awareness, cultural values and non-verbal clues.
- Cultural aspects that impact on attitudes and behaviours
- Noticing the language and cultural norms which can impact your business communication and strategy
- Varying communication styles and the unconscious cross-cultural bias
- How to build strong lasting relationships with global business clients and professional colleagues
Internal Coach Supervision
You are coaching as part of your role and working internally and/or cross-culturally. You know that Professional Development is necessary and desired. You sometime find professional boundaries are crossed and you struggle.
As many managers and leaders are required to ‘coach’ or ‘mentor’ their staff, the need for effective and skilled supervision has never been greater. Supervision differs from coaching in that it has a broader, deeper and less defined remit.
